Team history

Mayflower F.C.C Est. 1974

We were one of the largest children’s coaching club’s in the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. Dwindling numbers during the late 90’s left the club with just two teams playing in the DJM league. But with a recent revival the club now have five teams and a junior coaching club for 5, 6 and 7 years olds.

Our team joined Mayflower in June 2005. We started playing in the under 11’s league on September of that year. Three years on and we have just played our first game in the under 14’s league, drawing 1-1 away to Torpoint.

We have a greatest of lads who are supported by a friendly and knowledgeable group of parents.

We would all like to thank Hideaway Beds for sponsoring our son’s kits and tracksuits – which are superb!
